Overview

The Queen Anne’s County Local Management Board (LMB) is accepting applications for the Jacki Carter Young People Who Care Grant. If you have time, energy, and a unique idea that you believe would have a positive impact on your community in Queen Anne’s County, then apply for this opportunity!

Grant Details
  • Applicants must be middle or high school students and be no older than 18 at the time of the volunteer project.
    • Applicants younger than 13 must have a parent/guardian or project mentor help them prepare and submit their application.
  • Applicants may apply for up to $500 in funding.
  • Projects must be completed within a year (12 months) of the awarded date.

Overview

The Queen Anne’s County Local Management Board (LMB) is seeking proposals for the Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund (CRRF) AD-HOC Grant initiative. This funding opportunity aims to support community-based programs that benefit low-income communities and those disproportionately impacted by past cannabis prohibition, in alignment with the Maryland Cannabis Reform Act of 2023. This project is funded through the Queen Anne’s County Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund (CRRF).

Overview

The Partnering For Youth (PFY) Program is a comprehensive after-school initiative designed to provide structured, high-quality extracurricular activities, academic support, and a safe, engaging environment for children and adolescents throughout Queen Anne’s County. For the 2025-2026 school year, the Queen Anne’s County Local Management Board is seeking a qualified vendor to manage and oversee the PFY program across multiple school sites. The selected vendor will be responsible for coordinating diverse after-school clubs and out-of-school activities—spanning STEM, athletics, arts, and leadership development—while ensuring program excellence through strategic planning, effective staffing, and robust communication with parents and school administrators. Proposals must demonstrate a data-driven approach, sustainability, and the capacity to attract additional resources or volunteer support, ultimately enhancing the academic and social outcomes for our community’s youth.
