Our resources are designed to empower families and youth throughout Queen Anne’s County by providing targeted support and guidance. Each resource addresses specific community needs through a range of services, regular interactions, and collaborative efforts.

The Queen Anne’s County Community Partnerships for Children and Families bases its work on a comprehensive needs assessment and strategic plan. These documents are meant to be a tool for identifying areas of critical need and strengths thereby developing community strategies and focusing local funding requests.
As a Vendor to the QAC Partnerships for Children and Families you are required to fill out a W-9 form and complete a separate county agreement form. These forms must be on file in the County Finance office (Accounting Division) before any checks will be issued. Once the forms are complete, fax them along with your first invoice to: 410-758-6904.
The Queen Anne’s County Local Care Team (LCT) strives to ensure that children and their families receive the necessary supports and resources to live in the community successfully. The LCT works with parents, guardians and other adults on their children’s behalf. The purpose is to open doors, brainstorm, share knowledge, advocate, and develop strategies to help your child thrive.

Every 11 minutes, someone in the U.S. dies by suicide, despite most of these deaths being preventable. In 2022, 49,476 people across the U.S., including 608 in Maryland, died by suicide. In Maryland, suicide is a leading cause of death among youth, with the Mid-Shore region seeing rates 40% higher than the state average. Each death by suicide affects 115 people on average, and the economic toll is nearly $7 billion per year in medical and work-loss costs.
